Can the app touch my money?
No. BuddyFolio only asks for read rights and never places orders or transfers. Every connection explains how to create a read-only key.
Where are my API keys?
Only on your own phone or computer. Even with an account they don't go to our server. Syncing between devices is encrypted with a phrase only you know.
Is this investment advice?
No. The app calculates with your own data and public prices. You make the decisions.
My broker isn't listed.
Almost every broker offers an export of your portfolio; the app reads it. Or you enter your positions yourself; the app then fetches the prices itself.
